By using Quiet Rise, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

• Profile information — your current role, career goals, seniority level, and self-described strengths or challenges during onboarding
• Weekly logs — your work entries, reflections, and responses to prompts within the app
• Preferences — notification settings, pace preferences, and feature configurations
• Communications — messages you send us via email or contact forms

Information collected automatically:

• Usage data — which features you use, how often you log in, and interaction patterns within the app
• Device and technical data — browser type, operating system, IP address, and general location (country/region)
• Cookie and analytics data — as described in the Cookies section below

Payment information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by a third-party provider (Stripe). We do not store your card details on our servers.

How we use your data

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and personalise the Quiet Rise service — including generating your action plans, growth dashboard, and monthly summaries
• Improve our AI guidance and recommendation quality over time (using anonymised, aggregated patterns only)
• Send you service-related communications — such as weekly reminders, product updates, and account notifications
• Process your subscription and manage billing
• Respond to your support requests and enquiries
• Monitor for security issues and prevent abuse of our platform
• Comply with applicable legal obligations

We will never use your personal logs or career reflections to train general-purpose AI models, sell to advertisers, or share with your employer.

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers: We use trusted third-party providers to help run Quiet Rise — including hosting infrastructure, payment processing (Stripe), and analytics. These providers are contractually bound to protect your data.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Quiet Rise or its users.
• Business transfers: If Quiet Rise is acquired or merges with another company, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before that occurs.

Storage and security

Your data is stored securely on servers within the UK and European Economic Area (EEA). We use industry-standard security measures including:

• Encryption of data in transit (TLS) and at rest
• Access controls limiting who within our team can view personal data

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it.

We use a small number of cookies to make Quiet Rise work properly and to understand how it is being used.

• Essential cookies: Required for the app to function — managing your login session and preferences. These cannot be disabled.
• Analytics cookies: Help us understand how users interact with Quiet Rise so we can improve it. You can opt out via our cookie banner.
• No advertising cookies: We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We never allow ad networks to track our users.

Quiet Rise is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Policy changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by email and/or by displaying a prominent notice in the app.

Continued use of Quiet Rise after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
